The Nissan Leaf will be available in the Middle East sometime next year, according to InsideEVS.com.

Nissan Middle East general manager Jurgen Schmitz said that the automaker has plans to introduce the Leaf to the region, which may be available in a few select markets, according to Arabian Business. The president of Nissan Middle East, Kalyana Sivagnanam, forecasted the Leaf being available in Middle East Showrooms roughly by Q3 2018.

Nissan recently announced its market share in the Middle East grew by more than 20%, year-on-year. This was bolstered by the Nissan Kicks, which posted a 145% year-on-year increase in sales, the automaker announced.
