The deadline to submit nominees for the 2018 Professional Fleet Manager of the Year Award and the Fleet Hall of Fame is this Friday, June 1.

The Professional Fleet Manager of the Year Award recognizes a proficient fleet manager who has demonstrated special business acumen in developing and executing key management policies in all areas, and the Fleet Hall of Fame honors and recognizes fleet industry leaders and pioneers who have contributed significantly to the commercial fleet management profession.

Qualified nominees for the Fleet Manager of the Year Award are full-time commercial fleet managers, who control a company-owned or leased fleet in excess of 100 cars and light trucks combined, and who are recognized nationally among their peers for their unique abilities and accomplishments are eligible. Meanwhile, eligible nominees for the Fleet Hall of Fame must have at least 10 years fleet management experience and have contributed significantly to the industry.

The 2018 Fleet Manager of the Year and Fleet Hall of Fame inductees will be announced at the 2018 AFLA conference, which will be held Oct. 1 to 3 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes resort in Orlando, Fla.
