The Newport Beach hydrogen station is the 35th retail hydrogen station in California and is located in Orange County.

A Shell gas station in Newport Beach, Calif., has added hydrogen fueling pumps to its location, making it the 35th retail hydrogen station in the state, according to California Fuel Cell Partnership.

The hydrogen station first opened in 2012 and was recently upgraded to accommodate retail sales, according to a release. The station will be open 24 hours a day.
