Nissan's newest small SUV, the 2018 Kicks, will retail for at least $18,965, when it goes in sale later this spring, Nissan has announced. The price includes a $975 delivery fee.

The Kicks will arrive as Nissan's entry-level utility in a smaller SUV lineup that also includes the Rogue Sport and Rogue. The subcompact Kicks, which is similar in size to the Rogue Sport, would be available only in front-wheel drive, while the Rogue Sport would be offered with an all-wheel drivetrain.

Nissan will offer the Kicks in three trim grades, including S, SV, and SR. The models would be priced at $18,965, $20,665, and $21,265 respectively.

The Kicks, which debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show, is the sixth Nissan crossover or SUV. It's powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 125 horsepower and 115 pound-feet of torque. The Kicks is expected to deliver 33 mpg in combined driving, according to Nissan.
