Janet Horvath, supply chain manager of indirect non-manufacturing for Eaton Corp. in Beachwood, Ohio, retired on May 4, culminating a 23-year career with the company.

While at Eaton, Horvath had global fleet responsibility to meet corporate cost reduction goals and sustainability initiatives. She led cross-functional team (HR, Operations, and Finance) on policy, supplier selection, and program management. In addition, Horvath led sourcing process and transition from an unbundled fleet program to an outsourced service model.

Horvath was a respected leader in the fleet industry and served as a member of the General Motors Commercial Sounding Board and the LeasePlan Client Advisory Board.

In 2012, Horvath was named by Automotive Fleet magazine one of the 25 most influential women in fleet.
