Ginny Liddle, CAFM, corporate fleet administrator for Terracon Consultants, Inc., retired on May 3, culminating a 32-year career in fleet with 12 of those years at Terracon, which is headquartered in Olathe, Kan.

Terracon has a fleet of approximately 3,000 vehicles, the majority of which are pickups. The remainder of the fleet consists of drill trucks, drill rigs, and trailers.

While at Terracon Consultants, Liddle managed all aspects of the company’s fleet in the purchasing department.

Founded in 1965, Terracon has evolved into a multidiscipline firm specializing in environmental, facilities, geotechnical, and materials engineering consulting. With more than 4,000 employees in 150 offices across 40 states.

Prior to joining Terracon, Liddle was fleet administrator for WaterOne, an independent public water utility serving more than 400,000 customers in Johnson County, Kan. Liddle served as the utility’s fleet administrator from 2004 to 2005.

Prior to that, Liddle was fleet manager for Charter Communications, a position she held from 1999 to 2003.

Among Liddle’s career highlights was being one of the six founding members of Women in Fleet (WIFM) networking group. Another career highlight was being named by Automotive Fleet in 2012 as one of the 25 most influential women in fleet.

In addition to her Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) designation from NAFA, Liddle holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Pittsburg State University.

Liddle has been an active member of NAFA since 1978 and served as a member of the NAFA Board of Governors as the Safety Chair of the Mid-America chapter. In 2003, Liddle was chapter chair of the St. Louis Gateway Chapter after serving as vice chair from 2001-2003. In addition, Liddle was a member of the LeasePlan USA Advisory Board.
