General Motors will produce 15 new or refreshed vehicles in the Chinese market this year, according to Reuters

Roughly half of the new vehicles from GM will be crossover SUVs and minivans, as well as some Cadillac models, according to GM Authority

GM is planning to introduce the vehicles in a bid to “strengthen sales momentum” in the world’s biggest automobile market, according to GM reports Reuters.

The company also recently said that a majority of 20 new electric vehicles it will introduce by 2023 globally will be sold in China, according to GM Authority.

Vehicle sales in China totaled 28.88 million vehicles in 2017, up 3% on year, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers
