Fleet FAQ? Fleet Management & Leasing

July 17, 2017

Q. How do we start the vehicle upfitting process?

A. The best source to obtain feedback is to work with customers, drivers, and field technicians. The drivers and field technicians operate the equipment and know what is required to perform their daily job functions. Site visits and spec reviews with a truck/upfit engineer can provide extremely valuable insight during the spec'ing process. At site reviews current vehicle application, payload analysis and operating requirements, and upfit and equipment configurations should all be reviewed. Incorporating the correct upfit based on the selected vehicle model, application and upfit requirements is also a key piece to this process.
