In Memoriam: P. James Deasy

Automotive Rentals, Inc. regrets to announce the death of P. James Deasy on January 7, 1974. Deasy was 68 years old, and was a native of Kent, England. He graduated from Erith Technical Institute in England and later the Wharton School of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. He joined Rice and Homan in 1944 and was president of ARI from 1948 until 1970 when he became Chairman of the Board until 1972, when he retired, building the company into one of the largest leasing companies in the United States.
