Acura will update its RLX flagship luxury sedan for the 2018 model year with a mid-cycle refresh that will improve styling and add LED taillights, the company has announced.

The 2018 Acura RLX incorporates design cues, such as the signature diamond pentagon grille from the Acura Precision Concept, that were reflected in other recently redesigned Acura models including the 2018 TLX sport sedan and 2017 MDX sport-utility vehicle, according to Acura.

The 2018 RLX redesign is also highlighted by a more sculpted hood, new wheel designs, newly designed LED taillights, dual exhaust finishers, and gloss black rear diffusor.

It will share technology with the NSX supercar, such as the Sport Hybrid Super-Handling All Wheel Drive (Sport Hybrid SH-AWD).

The 377-horsepower Acura RLX Sport Hybrid will make its global debut during Monterey Automotive Week from Aug. 15 to 20. The luxury sedan will go on sale in November, and retail pricing has not been announced.
