General Motors and Mobileye have been granted permission to test autonomous vehicles in Israel following approval from Israel’s Ministry of Transport.

GM Israel's Herzliya development center recently unveiled an autonomous car prototype, which is a spinoff of the Chevrolet Bolt EV, according to Globes.

General Motors also recently unveiled a fleet of 130 Chevrolet Bol EV test vehicles in the U.S. equipped with self-driving technology that it plans to "deploy at scale," according to the automaker.

GM has already been testing more than 50 self-driving Bolt EVs in San Francisco, Detroit, and Scottsdale, Ariz.
