Turkey’s auto production hit a 10-year high during the first four months of 2017, which rose by 42% when compared to last year.

The country’s auto production rose to a total of 402,0954 cars that were manufactured between January and April, according to the Hurriyet Daily News

Exports from this region also rose 57% during the four month period, while overall production was up by 22% year-over-year, according to a report by the Automotive Manufacturers’ Association.

However, the report also noted that auto sales were down 9% (237,717 units) during the same period this year this year.
