Subaru's base 2018 Forester with the 6-speed manual transmission will increase $200 to $23,710 for the compact SUV, Subaru has announced.
Subaru offers the Forester in four trim grades, including the base 2.5i, Premium, Limited, and Touring. The Forester is powered by a 2.5-liter Boxer engine that makes 179 hp. The 2.5i and Limited trim grades offer a standard manual transmission with optional CVT (continously variable transmission). All-wheel drive is standard on all models.
Adding a CVT to the base model adds $1,000, while adding it to the 2.5i Premium increases the price by $500.
Other models retail for $30,310 for the Limited, $34,005 for the Touring, $30,410 for the 2.0XT Premium, and $37,005 for the 2.0XT Touring.
