Two Donlen experts will discuss fleet analytics at a session at the 2017 NAFA I&E in Tampa, Fla. on Wednesday, April 26 at 8:30 a.m., the fleet management company has announced.

John Wuich, CAFM, vice president of strategic consulting services, and Amy Blaine, vice president of analytics, will present the Using Predictive Analytics to Optimize Vehicle Replacement Decisions session.

During the Using Predictive Analytics to Optimize Vehicle Replacement Decisions session, attendees will learn:

  • The advantages of using a predictive model to make vehicle replacement recommendations
  • The factors that are most useful in predicting increased vehicle cost as the vehicle ages and/or vehicle failure
  • How this new methodology can simplify the vehicle replacement decision process

"Predictive analytics are becoming increasingly valuable for fleet managers," said Wuich. "For fleet professionals who are new to predictive models, this session offers insight into the advantages of predictive analytics and ways that fleet managers can determine optimal vehicle cycling parameters based on predictive data."

In his current role, Wuich manages a team of strategic consultants focused on using historical, behavioral and fiscal data trends and analysis to reduce lifecycle costs, improve safety and increase compliance.

For more than 20 years, his contributions have resulted in strategic alignment of programs and policies with business direction, reduced administrative burden, and an overall improved bottom-line. He earned his Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) designation in 2016.

Blaine has been helping companies make data-driven decisions for over 20 years. She leads Donlen's predictive analytics team that's focused on updating and developing new FleetWeb predictive models to help customers make fleet forecasts, allowing them to save money and reduce fleet emissions.
