Jaguar Land Rover’s three vehicle manufacturing plants increased the company’s UK production output 8% over the previous year to 544,401, according to the automaker.

Production plants in Liverpool and the West Midlands accounted for more than 30% of all domestic car production last year. Jaguar Land Rover vehicles account for five of the top 10 British best-sellers globally, according to company.

Jaguar Land Rover has increased production from its British plants by more than 240% since 2009, when total annual production stood at 158,000 units, according to the automaker.

The Jaguar F-Pace propelled Jaguar production forward by 67% last year, while the Range Rover Evoque regained the position of Land Rover’s highest-volume vehicle.
