Tata Motors will continue to manufacture the Bolt hatchback, but offer the vehicle for fleet operations only, reports Drivespark.com.

The Bolt suffered weak sales, only selling 17,000. The car had difficulty competing with segment leaders such as the Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Hyundai Elite i20.

Tata will focus on development of the better selling Tiago hatchback. Since its launch, 30,000 of the vehicles have been sold. The car has helped Tata Motors register a record a 43% growth in the month of July.
