Mazda Motor Corporation and Isuzu Motors Limited said they have reached an agreement on next-generation pickup truck collaboration, allowing Isuzu to enhance its product competitiveness and Mazda to strengthen its product lineup and maintain own-brand market coverage.
Isuzu will produce next-generation pickup trucks for Mazda, based on Isuzu’s pickup truck model, according to the truckmaker.
Mazda and Isuzu have had a collaborative relationship for more than 10 years, with Isuzu producing Mazda trucks for the Japanese market. This agreement reinforces the long-term relationship between Mazda and Isuzu, according to the companies.
