Chevin has launched a new online training resource site, Chevin Academy, to help fleets learn how to get the most of their software investment, the company has announced.

Consisting of a detailed library of video tutorials, the Academy has been developed to address frequently asked support questions about the company's enterprise fleet management software system, FleetWave as well as offering extensive guidance on how to get the most out of the system.

With the help of Chevin customers, the Academy has been developed over the last two years and is now being made available to users across the globe.

"Over the last few years, we have found that tutorial videos are usually the best way to guide customers through answers to common questions or to make their fleet software use even more effective," said Ashley Sowerby, Chevin's managing director. "The videos that we have created have been very well received and we are sure that the Academy will quickly become recognized as a valuable resource for users."

FleetWave customers can currently access more than 70 video tutorial via Chevin Academy.

In keeping with Chevin's ongoing focus on interactive development, customers can also provide direct feedback on the content and log their own video requests.

The launch of the Academy was part of a general strategy to increase the level of support offered to Chevin customers, including the recent "rebooting" of its customer support team with a new structure and new appointments, Sowerby said.

"A superb level of support is one of the areas where a software company can differentiate itself from the competition and we are determined to maintain our position as the fleet software industry leader in this important area," Sowerby said.
