Subaru of America is recalling 766 2015 model-year Legacy and Outback cars because the brake fluid in them may contain too much moisture — a condition that can adversely affect the electronic stability control system.

This effect on the electronic stability control system can result in loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported. The recall covers vehicles manufactured on July 20 of last year.

Subaru dealers will perform an anti-lock braking system activation, and then flush and replace the brake fluid. There will be no charge for this service.

Vehicle owners can reach Subaru customer service at (800) 782-2783. Subaru's number for this recall is WTC-64.
