Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will offer three Dodge Dart models for 2016, including a GT model with a lower retail price than its 2015 model, FCA has announced.

Dodge will offer the Dart SXT Sport, Dart Turbo, and Dart GT Sport that will retail for $17,995, $19,495, and $20,995 respectively. For 2015, Dodge offered the SE, SXT, Aero, GT, and Limited models. Prices exclude destination fees.

The now base Dart SXT Sport increases by $1,000, while the GT Sport falls $1,100 in price.

The Dart SXT Sport is powered by carry-over 2.0L Tigershark four-cylinder. It includes remote keyless entry Uconnect voice command with Bluetooth, Sirius Satellite radio, air conditioning, cruise control, steering wheel audio controls and 16-inch aluminum wheels.

The new Dart Turbo is powered by a 1.4L MultiAir2 Turbo engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. It adds a sport appearance hood, integrated dual exhaust and 17-inch Granite Crystal aluminum wheels.

The Dart GT Sport is powered by the 184-hp 2.4L Tigershark four-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed manual or an available Powertech 6-speed automatic transmission.

FCA will phase out the Dart and sister Chrysler 200 by 2018 in favor of several new hybrids.
