The CEI Group, Inc. (CEI) has promoted Bob Glose to the newly created position of corporate vice president, the accident management company has announced.

With the new role, Glose takes over responsibility for the company's operations and enterprise resource management. He reports to Wayne Smolda, CEI's chief executive officer and president.

"In his new executive position, Bob will direct the company's resources both to ensure we meet all of our clients' needs and the goals of our strategic plan for growth and expansion into specialized markets," said Smolda. "Bob is particularly well-suited for this role because of his background and experience in information technology, client management and operations."

Glose has 14 years of diverse experience at CEI, spread over two terms of service. He began in 1997 and served as manager of network and infrastructure in the IT department, before leaving in 2000 for a five-year stint as head of IT security for an insurance company.

After rejoining CEI, Glose was a team leader in the strategic account services department. In 2013, he was named director of operations and last year was promoted to senior director.

Glose has been a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and is a member of the NAFA Fleet Management Association and the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association.
