An automotive distributor has signed an agreement to supply a fleet of Mercedes-Benz Actros tractor units and tipper chassis to Ghantoot Transport and General Contracting by the end of October, reports Albawaba.
The contractor plans to use the trucks in the first phase of the Adam-Thumrait Road Dualisation Project. Zawawi Trading Company Automotive is delivering the trucks, and will provide a training and after sales program.
The company chose Actros trucks provide "reliability, safety, and exceptional performance," according to a Zawawi representative.
