The Exclaim trim level for the 2016 model-year Kia Soul will offer a new “premium package” featuring a forward collision warning system and a lane departure warning system, the automaker said.

Forward collision warning and lane departure warning are both new to the Soul.

“The camera-based LDWS helps to monitor the Soul’s position and provides visual and auditory warnings to the driver when the vehicle begins to drift too close to the lane markers,” Kia Motors said in a press release about the 2016 Soul.

Other “premium package” features include navigation, an upgraded Infinity audio system, a sunroof, seat heaters and more.

All three trim levels for the Soul – Base, Plus and Exclaim – add features for the 2016 model year. Base models equipped with the “convenience package” now include an integrated rear camera display, 4.3-inch color touchscreen and SiriusXM satellite radio.
