ARI has been named one of the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials in the United States by Fortune magazine and the Great Place to Work Institute. This is the inaugural year for this ranking, which was determined through anonymous surveys of nearly 90,000 millennial employees administered by the workplace culture experts at Great Place to Work.
"Maintaining a culture where employees of all generations feel welcomed and have the opportunity to contribute, collaborate, learn and grow is incredibly important to us, and we're proud to be recognized as a workplace where millennials are engaged and feel they can have a positive impact," said Chris Conroy, ARI's president. "This honor is especially notable because we realize just how closely the well-being of our employees relates both to our company's long-term success and to the value we are able to deliver to our clients."
Companies named to the list were selected based on the evaluations of millennial-aged employees who were surveyed using the Trust Index, Great Place to Work's employee assessment survey. Millennials were asked to rate their company's overall culture, taking into account factors such as the degree to which they were comfortable being themselves in the workplace, their access to special recognition and professional development, the fairness of promotions and pay practices and the level of respect with which they are treated, among many other factors.
"Companies that are focused on solid growth understand that it's critical for senior leaders to have an in-depth understanding of all their employees' experiences, regardless of their age, role in the organization or any other demographic profile," says Michael Bush, chief executive of Great Place to Work United States. "Great workplaces are constantly monitoring and analyzing their employees' workplace experiences and then taking action to improve them. Ranking on this list is a great indicator that these companies' efforts to create great workplaces are resonating with millennials."
