Jaguar has updated its XJ full-size luxury sedan for 2016 with a refresh of its flagship vehicle, Jaguar has announced.

Jaguar is refreshing the styling cues for the current generation model, which arrived in the U.S. in 2011, and adding several other enhancements. The 2016 XJ will get full LED headlights, new daytime running lights, and redesigned LED tail lights.

The interior will also be refreshed with a new InControl Touch Pro infotainment system, smartphone connectivity, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and 26-speaker Meridian Digital Reference audio system. The reworked 12.3-inch TFT instrument screen now offers full-screen navigation.

Jaguar will offer the model in trims including XJ Luxury, XJ Premium Luxury, XJ Portfolio, XJ R-Sport, XJR, and XJ Autobiography. The vehicle is available in standard and long-wheelbase models.

The engine lineup includes a 3.0-liter, 340-hp supercharged V-6 in either rear- or all-wheel drive. Jaguar will also offer a 5.0-liter V-8 that makes 470 hp.
