OBI Telematics and Navman Wireless have announced an exclusive distribution agreement allowing both companies to extend their reach throughout the Middle East and Africa.

OBI Telematics said its exclusive distribution rights to Navman Wireless products and services will allow the company to provide a wide range of customized telematics solutions to resource, enterprise and government clients, with the value added capability of 24-hour live monitoring centers and integrated vehicle and lone worker safety solutions uniquely positioning them above traditional IVMS solutions in market.

OBI Telematics is a subsidiary company of Stirling Group, a global HSE organization.

Navman Wireless has over 23 years' experience in GPS technology. By offering scalable, fit-for-purpose hardware and vertically aligned features such as Adaptive Intelligence, a (KPI)-based decision-making tool providing insight into future fleet trends. Navman Wireless provides a comprehensive driver safety, asset monitoring and fleet efficiency suite allowing for accurate data sets regardless of location and environment, according to the company.

The strategic partnership driven by a long recognized and clearly defined industry need allows OBI Telematics to offer Navman Wireless products and services throughout the Middle East & African regions. OBI Telematics' response centers are based in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Iraq.
