Fleetmatics Hires Intuit Exec as President, COO

Fleetmatics has hired Jill Ward, a former senior executive from Intuit, as its president and COO, the telematics company has announced.

Ward will lead the company's efforts in global sales and marketing, product strategy and development, customer support, operations, and IT. Ward reports to Jim Travers, chairman and chief executive.

Ward joins Fleetmatics from Intuit, which offers cloud-based tax preparation software. She led the accountant and advisor group. During her 12-year career at Intuit, she led multiple business units to deliver growth through business management solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses as well as enterprise clients.
