Multiprens USA is recalling 22,104 STK-100 warning triangle kits because their orange florescent material might not be reflective enough to gain the attention of motorists as they approach a disabled vehicle.

Additionally, the triangles may topple in the wind or separate at the joint, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported. They are also subject to discoloration over time. As a result, they don’t comply with all federal safety standards.

This recall only affects Multiprens STK-100 kits manufactured from Oct. 4, 2011, to July 21, 2014.

Owners of the kits qualify for a full refund, beginning in April, NHTSA said. Kit owners can reach Multiprens customer service at (913) 371-6999. The company’s number for the recall is MUSA0814.
