Kia Motors will unveil a concept model of its next-generation Optima mid-size sedan at the 2015 Geneva Auto Show, the automaker has announced.

The automaker didn't reveal many details on the vehicle, but the design is aimed to support an "active lifestyle," and promises to be spacious and "style-consious".

This new Optima is the 11th concept car created by Kia's European design studio in Frankfurt, Germany.

The announcement from Kia comes after Hyundai said its Tuscon/ix35 will be at the Geneva Auto Show.

The refreshed Optima will be the fourth-generation of a sedan first introduced in 2001.
