The 2014 Fleet Safety Conference, set for July 22-23 in Schaumburg, Ill., will feature presentations from leading fleet managers and safety executives who will share case studies of successful corporate safety programs.

Session speakers will include Mike Pitcher, CEO of LeasePlan USA; Jeff Castillo, global vehicle safety lead for Monsanto Co.; and Jack Hanley, executive director of the Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS).

During the conference, sessions will include Pitcher's "Changing a Corporate Safety Culture from the Top Down and the Bottom Up," Castillo's "The Role of Company Culture in Starting, Building and Sustaining a Road Safety Program," and Hanley's "Building a Fleet Safety Program and Enhancing Your Corporate Image through Road Safety Community Outreach."

The conference will also cover combatting driver distractions, the latest trends in vehicle safety engineering, predictive analysis, and new paradigms in driver safety and how they're making a difference today. The event is produced by the publishers of leading fleet publications Automotive Fleet, Heavy Duty Trucking and Work Truck.

A highlight of the conference will be presentation of the third annual Fleet Safety Award, given in conjunction with the American Automotive Leasing Association (AALA). The award recognizes professionals who have shown leadership, innovation and measurable results in enhancing the safety of their employees, passengers and other drivers.
