Nissan has added an infotainment system as standard equipment on several of its Frontier mid-size pickups and eliminated the long wheelbase Titan full-size pickup for the 2015 model year.

Nissan has not announced whether it would offer a diesel engine option with the 2015 Titan. Nissan showed its Frontier Diesel Runner concept pickup at the Chicago Auto Show earlier this year.

The 2015 Frontier Pro-4X gets the NissanConnect system with navigation and mobile apps, while the SV and Desert Runner trim levels get NissanConnect with appls and a 5-inch color display.

The 2015 Frontier will be offered in five trim levels including S (4 cylinder or V-6), SV, Pro-4X (4x4 only), Desert Runner (4x2 only), and SL (crew cab only). The truck will be available in August.

Nissan is also adding a standard moonroof for the Frontier SL long wheelbase model for 2015. Commercial fleets registered 4,075 Frontier pickups in 2013.

The full-size Titan will again be offered in S, SV, Pro-4X, and SL models with the 5.6L V-8 that generates 317 horsepower and 385 lb.-ft. of torque that's paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is 9,500 pounds for the King Cab and 9.400 pounds for the crew cab.
