Jaguar Land Rover North America is recalling 5,238 2014 model-year Land Rover Range Rover vehicles so dealers can update software controlling the turn signal indicator, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.

The recall affects vehicles manufactured from May 7, 2013, to October 10, 2013. Because of a glitch, the turn signal indicator might fail to flash or click at a double rate to alert the driver whenever the front turn signal is malfunctioning. This fails to conform to federal safety standards.

The recall is expected to get under way around May 27. Land Rover’s number for the recall is P042.
