The automotive fleet industry could be recovering millions of dollars more a year from third-party drivers responsible for highway accidents with their vehicles. That's the message CEI's Chris Villella will convey to members of the St. Louis Gateway chapter of the NAFA Fleet Management Association next week.

Villella, a 25-year veteran of the fleet loss recovery business, will give a presentation titled "Getting More from Your Subrogation Program."  Topics will include the steps necessary for successful loss recovery and a review of the latest loss recovery technology.

The chapter's meeting will be held Wednesday, March 19, at the facilities of Forest Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in St. Louis. For more information, please visit the NAFA event calendar.

Villella is CEI's senior manager of loss recovery and insurance services, and a charter member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals. He is also a member of Arbitration Forums' council for E-Subro Hub, the non-profit industry's online loss recovery system.

For the fifth year in a row in 2013, under Villella's leadership, CEI collected more than $30 million in accident damage costs from third-party drivers for its fleet customers.  On average, the company pursues recovery demands in 25 to 30 percent of the accident repair claims it manages, and collects approximately 95 percent of the funds it pursues in less than 60 days.
