Audi of America and AT&T will offer a six-month trial of in-vehicle 4G LTE broadband service and a pair of data plans to 2015 A3 buyers when the vehicle arrives in April.

Audi will incorporate the first 4G in-car service into its Audi Connect infotainment system. A3 buyers can add a data plan via AT&T to receive 5GB for $99 over six months or 30GB for $499 over 30 months.

The latest version of Audi Connect includes picture navigation, read-aloud news headlines, Facebook and Twitter alerts, access to more than 7,000 Web radio stations, and personalized RSS news feeds.

This summer, Audi will offer a Mobile Share data plan option to AT&T wireless customers who would like to add their vehicle to an existing Mobile Share plan.

Audi plans to offer 4G LTE service across its entire lineup of new or refreshed vehicles as they come to market.
