The Lincoln Navigator full-size luxury SUV arrives for the 2015 model year with a more powerful and efficient engine, as well as a redesigned interior, Lincoln announced Thursday.

The fourth-generation Navigator adds a new 3.5L V-6 EcoBoost engine that replaces the earlier 5.4L V-8. The twin turbocharged, direct injection V-6 should deliver 370 horsepower and 530 lb.-ft. of torque, according to Lincoln. The engine will be paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with Lincoln's SelectShift that allows the driver to manually control gear shifting. An optional four-wheel drive system is available.

The latest SYNC with MyLincoln Touch drive connectivity system enables voice activation or touch controls via a 4.2-inch in-dash screen.

Lincoln will show the vehicle for the first time at the Chicago Auto Show on Feb. 6.
