Nissan North America Inc. is recalling 151,695 vehicles so that dealers can reprogram the ABS, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.

The recall affects 2013-2014 model-year Nissan Pathfinder vehicles (manufactured April 18, 2012, through Sept. 20, 2013); 2013-MY Infiniti JX35 vehicles (manufactured Sept. 15, 2011, through Jan. 16, 2013); and 2014-MY Infiniti QX60 vehicles (manufactured Jan. 17, 2013, through Sept. 20, 2013).

During light braking on rough roads, the antilock brake system (ABS) brake pressure output software may lead to an increase in stopping distance in these vehicles. The resultant increase in stopping distance poses a safety risk, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Nissan dealers will reprogram the ABS free of charge. Vehicle owners can reach Nissan at 1-800-647-7261.
