LeasePlan USA has launched ePlan version 4.0, the newest generation of its Internet-based fleet management system that enables clients to access centrally managed data in real time. In addition to the services ePlan’s current version offers, such as ordering, order tracking, driver and vehicle record management, document image retrieval and reporting, version 4.0 has the added capability of incident management. With ePlan version 4.0, fleet managers can review the process of an accident from the initial detailed report through subrogation, when applicable. A fleet manager also has the capability of tracking the collision repair process via “Collision Notes” as the LeasePlan’s accident management department enters the information. A future enhancement to ePlan will allow the user to access vehicle images and documents received from the collision facilities. Standard reports for incident management will also be available as a later enhancement to version 4.0.
