Kandi Technologies Group reported on its progress in building electric vehicle smart vertical parking and charging facilities, saying the project is on schedule. The company plans to complete construction of five of these facilities by September. Kandi added that by the end of 2013, there will be 30 to 40 of these facilities built in Hangzhou City.

In addition to charging facilities, Kandi stated that a year from now, 5,000 to 10,000 Kandi EV JNJ6290EV model and Kandi-Geely co-developed JL7001BEV vehicles will be deployed throughout the city.

Hangzhou’s Xihu District Mayor Dangqi Zhu, along with his delegation, including Executive Deputy Mayors of Xihu District Fei Tan and Weibing Zhou and other government officials of Xihu District, visited Zhejiang Kandi Electric Vehicles Co., Ltd. to check on the project’s progress.

During the visit, Xiaoming Hu, the Chairman of Kandi & the General Manager of the JV Company, provided a detailed introduction to the Hangzhou public EV charging system updates on its progress, according to the company.
