TNT Express began using biodiesel as part of a trial program in its fleet in the United Arab Emirates. TNT has partnered with Lootah Biofuels, a subsidiary of S.S. Lootah Group, for this program. TNT plans to use B5, diesel fuel blended with used cooking oil that has been treated at Lootah’s processing plant, in its vehicles.

“We are incredibly proud of this initiative, it joins other regional initiatives such as our recent CNG vehicle fleet in Pakistan in our continued efforts to reduce carbon emissions company,” said Bryan Moulds, Managing Director Middle East and sub-continent associates.

TNT Express delivers parcels in more than 200 countries and is headquartered in the Netherlands.
