In light of the increasing number of accidents caused by distracted driving and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s ban on cellphone use in commercial motor vehicles, the NexTraq DriveGuard solution uses a unique Bluetooth Trigger Unit coupled with a mobile application on a driver’s cellphone to help eliminate a driver’s temptation to call, email, text or surf the web while driving.

According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the average crash costs an employer $16,500.
