GM Fleet and Commercial announced that users can now access a mobile-optimized version of GMFleet.com on Apple and Android smartphones. The automaker has also created a product guide app, the GM 2014 Car and Truck Guide, for Android and Apple (iPad) tablets.
"This year, we've introduced tools and programs, like Business Elite and Business Choice, to help improve our customers' experience," said Ed Peper, General Motors U.S. vice president of Fleet and Commercial Sales. “Introducing the GMFleet.com mobile site and the 2014 Car and Truck Guide app is just the next step in providing fleets the tools they need to efficiently manage their fleet while on the go."
The mobile version of GM’s website features vehicle specs, core customer groups, and a “click-to-call” feature that allows customers to reach their representatives in the GM Fleet and Commercial organization.
The 2014 GM Car and Truck Guide tablet app features detailed specifications on all vehicles in the GM Fleet and Commercial lineup along with information on a range of topics, such as fuel efficiency, technology, warranty information, vehicle service, and specialty vehicles.
The 2014 GM Car and Truck Guide tablet app is free to download from the Google Play store (for Android tablets) and from Apple’s App Store (for Apple/iPad devices).
