Emirates Gas LLC (EMGAS) is hosting the Compressed Natural Gas – Natural Gas Vehicle ANGVA Forum 2013, which focuses on promoting the use of compressed natural gas (CNG) and natural gas vehicles (NGVs), May 14-16, at Raffles Dubai.

The ANGVA Forum 2013 features a number of keynote speakers and specialized roundtables designed to address safer and sustainable NGV infrastructure development in the UAE, Qatar, and the wider Gulf region.

At the Forum, Fazal Ali Khan, CNG Development Manager of EMGAS, will provide insights on the municipal waste flare gas program for NGVs in Dubai. Also, Waddah Ghanem, ENOC’s Chief EHSQ Compliance Officer, will highlight the aspects of safe and sustainable NGV infrastructure development in the UAE, in addition to discussions led by experts from different organizations.

EMGAS is also planning to promote the use of CNG by setting up a CNG refueling facility for potential fleet owners, including the RTA, Dubai Municipality, DP World, and other public-sector departments and private companies.

EMGAS said leaders from government and private-sector entities are attending the event, including UAE Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Interior, Dubai Municipality, Ministry of Civil Defence, RTA, Dubai Police, Dubai Civil Aviation, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Sharjah Electric & Water Authority (SEWA), Dubai Taxi Corporation, Dubai Health Authority, ADNOC Distribution, Emirates Group, Emirates Driving Institute, Mowasalat, Dubai Aluminium, Dubai Ambulance, GASCO, DUSUP and PTT PLC among others.
