Julie Bergs retired on May 31, 2022, as global fleet manager - strategic sourcing for NCR Corporation. Bergs has worked at NCR Corporation for over seven years. She was appointed global fleet manager at NCR in February 2015, where she was responsible for 8,000 vehicles globally, which included North America, Europe, APAC, CLA, MEA, and Israel. She managed supplier relations, contract negotiations, and forecast vehicle projections. Bergs worked cross functionally within all lines of business to drive year-over-year cost reductions and improve efficiencies.

Prior to this, Bergs was fleet administrator for Georgia-Pacific LLC from November 2010 to February 2015. She was responsible for the North American GP Company Fleet Vehicle Program, which included U.S., Canada, and Mexico fleets. In her first year in the position, Bergs achieved $1.4 million savings by utilizing an RFP strategic review. She instituted a yearly MVR review process and developed a driver safety program. 

Earlier, Bergs was senior fleet operations specialist for Abbott Laboratories from 2001 to 2010 after Abbott acquired her prior employer, Solvay Pharmaceuticals. Bergs managed all aspects of the U.S. fleet operations for 1,000-plus vehicles, including development of internal fleet policies and procedures.
