David Hayward, CAFM, was named senior manager, global fleet, at ABM Industries, a Fortune 500 facilities services company.

In this role, Hayward will oversee the fleet operations for over 6,000 vehicles and pieces of equipment across ABM’s portfolio of offerings. Prior to this, Hayward was corporate sales manager for North America for Jaguar Land Rover where he had responsibility for business-to-business sales channels including commercial, rental, government, and mobility fleets in the U.S. and Canada.

Prior to joining Jaguar Land Rover in December 2020, Hayward worked at Deloitte Consulting LLP where he was a manager in the supply chain practice, focused on government agency fleets. Hayward has extensive experience in fleet management including Service Fleets where he was fleet operations manager for AmeriGas Propane and director of fleet, EHS, facilities & procurement for Rentokil North America for four years. While at Rentokil, Hayward was tasked with consolidating a variety of functions under one management group following three major acquisitions across North America.

Hayward also has led global fleet operations in the pharmaceutical sector having served as global fleet category director, for Teva Pharmaceuticals where he was responsible for creating the global fleet strategy for the business. Hayward started his fleet career as director of international fleet operations for Wyeth from January 2007 to January 2010. As director of international fleet operations, Hayward was responsible for fleet operations in EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America in coordination with Wyeth North American Fleet Operations.
