Ralf Wessel has been named senior manager, fleet services, for Wallenius Wilhelmsen, based in Jacksonville, Fla. Wessel assumed this position in December 2021. He will lead the effort to enhance the Wallenius Wilhelmsen business-to-business full-lifecycle domestic fleet strategy for U.S. as well as globally.

Prior to this, Wessel was senior manager, global facilities, fleet and security for AGCO Corporation, where he worked for more than 15 years. While at AGCO, Wessel managed the global fleet program of about 2,500 vehicles and was responsible for procurement and negotiation with car manufacturers and fleet leasing companies. Wessel had total responsibility for a facility budget of $5 million annually, plus a global fleet budget of $32 million.
