Antal Palmai was promoted to director corporate procurement & fleet management for MVM, an oil and energy company headquartered in Budapest, Hungary. Palmai joined MVM in April 2020.

Prior to this, Palmai worked as group indirect procurement and head of global category management for E.ON, where he worked for over six years. The company is based in the Essen metro area of Germany.

During his tenure at E.ON, Palmai built up a new global procurement function for the categories of HR, Travel, Fleet, and Health & Safety. He achieved the highest (80%+) spend control within global indirect procurement categories, saving 26 million Euros on fleet management and 18 million Euros on company travel costs. He exceeded the global 15% company saving target in multiple spend categories. In addition, Palmai introduced a KPI-based periodic vendor evaluation process (quarterly business reviews) to improve quality and performance.
