On Nov. 1, Volkswagen of America, Inc. announced pricing for the 2022 Jetta and Jetta GLI, starting at $20,195 and $30,995, respectively.

The new Jetta vehicles feature updated technology and styling. The 2022 Jetta will come in four trim levels, while the GLI will be offered in one fully-loaded Autobahn trim. New for 2022 is the Jetta Sport trim, which features the XDS electronic differential lock and dark graphite 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels as standard, along with a blacked-out grille, mirror caps, and window trim, a black headliner, and cloth sport seats. The Sport trim is positioned just above the base S trim.

A six-speed manual transmission is standard on both Jetta and Jetta GLI, with the eight-speed automatic optional for the Jetta and a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission available on the GLI.

On the outside, the Jetta and GLI get a style update with new front and rear bumpers, new colors, and unique wheel designs for each trim. Inside, the Jetta and GLI boast upgraded technology and design updates throughout their cabins — including standard Volkswagen Digital Cockpit and Volkswagen Car-Net with in-car Wi-Fi capability when you subscribe to a data plan. IQ.DRIVE driver assistance technology is available from the entry Jetta trim, and standard on GLI.
