The biggest factor for success in any fleet safety program is the human factor — your drivers. But how do you best understand your drivers’ needs, pinpoint risky behaviors, and motivate drivers to safeguard themselves and other road users?

Don't miss a thought-provoking seminar — “A Safer Fleet Starts with Driver Care” — at the Fleet Safety Experience on Sept. 23 at noon EST.

A trio of industry experts will offer insights that can help you boost positivity and best practices while enhancing overall fleet safety.

Michael Reforth, VP of safety, health & environment for Dickinson Fleet Services will discuss real-world, successful safety policies and procedures that he’s implemented over the years. Richard Bleser, senior VP of Marsh Risk Consulting will talk about ways to reduce risk and benchmark your fleet safety program. Kinana Hussain, vice president of product line management at CalAmp will share knowledge about the valuable role telematics and video data can play in coaching while keeping driver sensitivities in mind.

Additionally, the seminar will explore strategies for recognizing driver behavioral issues, identifying and addressing problematic driving patterns, and utilizing gamification for positive reinforcement.

"Understanding your drivers' needs — and following up with targeted resources — has a direct impact on mitigating unsafe driving behaviors," said Chris Brown, conference chair. "A happy driver truly does lead to a safer fleet, and this seminar will show you ways to get there."

A Safer Fleet Starts with Driver Care” will take place on Sept. 23 at noon EST. The 2021 Fleet Safety Experience convenes virtually Sept. 21-23.
