Canadian transit vehicle manufacturer Grande West Transportation Group Inc. received a new contract from the Region of Waterloo for four Vicinity buses, totaling to about $2 million.
The buses for Waterloo’s Grand River Transit will be delivered in the second half of 2021.
The company also announced that it has completed the delivery of 34 compressed natural gas (CNG) Vicinity buses. The delivery was completed during the second and third quarter reporting periods.
Grande West now has over 500 Vicinity buses in operation throughout Canada and the U.S.
