Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is recalling an estimated 106 2018 Jeep Wrangler vehicles for rear seat issues.

The rear under body ladder rail may corrode, potentially reducing the strength of the rear floor pan and causing the left rear seat mount to loosen. If either situation occurs, the rear seat may detach in a crash, increasing the likelihood of injury.

The remedy for this recall is still under development. The recall begins June 1. Vehicle owners can reach Chrysler customer service at (800)-853-1403. Chrysler’s number for this recall is U27.
